Walk into a typical preschool and you'll see four-year-olds being managed. Lined up. Hushed. Praised for sitting still. Handed worksheets. We see something different. We see a child made in the image of God — already curious, capable, designed for purpose. The question isn't whether your four-year-old is ready. It's whether the adults around them believe they can. We do.

Spark Studio: Built for Ages 4-6

Learning To Be

The Hero's Journey. Spark learners discover their God-given calling — where their gifts, joy, and purpose align. They build character, courage, and identity rooted in who Christ says they are. Not someday. Today. Every learner is treated as the hero of their own story, designed on purpose, for a purpose.

Learning To Do

Growing Curiosity. Afternoons are project-based and hands-on. Spark learners explore physics, civilizations, gardening, building, and more — chosen around themes that change each session. We protect awe and curiosity by never crushing them with busywork or worksheets they didn't ask for.

Learning To Know

Core Skills. Mornings are focused on reading, writing, and math using Montessori materials. Younger learners (4–5) explore freely. Older Spark learners (5–6) work toward mastery — earning real badges that prove they've learned, not just sat through a unit. Each child progresses at their own pace, not the group's.

What it means to take a 4 year old seriously

Most education systems quietly assume young children need to be protected from real work. We reject that. A four-year-old can choose their own tasks. Clean up after themselves. Solve real problems. Love Jesus. Encourage a friend. Persevere through hard things. Treat a child like they're capable, and they rise. Treat them like they're fragile, and they shrink. Spark assumes capability.

Day In The Life...

Spark runs from 8:30 AM to 3:15 PM. It's not daycare. It's not babysitting. It's school — designed for who young children actually are, not who adults wish they were.

Morning Launch

Studio gathers for prayer, a discussion question, and a hero of the day.

Spark Play

A lot of it. Young children need to run, climb, and play — not sit.

Core Skills

Reading, writing, math with Montessori materials. Each child works at their own pace on goals they helped set.

Studio Maintenance

Spark learners clean and reset their own space. Real responsibility, every day.

D.E.A.R.

Drop Everything and Read. Quiet, focused reading on couches, in corners, on the floor.

Closing Circle

Character callouts, confessions, and reflection. Honoring each other and owning growth.

Faith At The Center

A lot of Christian preschools sprinkle Bible verses on top of a secular curriculum. We're built differently. The foundation of Spark is the truth that every child is an image-bearer of God — created on purpose, for a purpose. We start every day from that truth. We pray about it. We let it shape how we treat each other. Spiritual formation isn't a 15-minute slot. It's the air your child breathes.
