The Learning Pyramid
The Learning Pyramid shows that retention grows through active engagement. That’s why Treign Up emphasizes discussion, hands-on work, and learners teaching each other. Reading and watching play a role, but deep understanding comes when learners wrestle with ideas, apply them, and share insights with peers.

70/20/10
The 70/20/10 model shows most learning comes from doing. At Treign Up Academy, learners spend the bulk of their time engaging in real challenges, projects, and problem-solving. Another 20% comes from collaboration, coaching moments, and peer support. The final 10% comes through platforms, books, and short lessons—creating balanced, authentic mastery.

2 Sigma Problem
Personalized learning produces far better outcomes than one-size-fits-all classrooms. Treign Up achieves this through self-paced goals, clear benchmarks, and ownership of the learning journey. Each learner advances at the right level of challenge, leading to breakthroughs without relying on constant adult instruction.

Forgetting Curve
The Forgetting Curve shows how quickly information fades without use. We counter this by having learners revisit concepts through spaced repetition, daily goal-setting, reflections, and real-world application. They don’t cram—they reinforce, refine, and strengthen ideas until they stick.

Grade Inflation
Traditional grades have lost meaning as expectations drop and averages rise. Treign Up replaces inflated grades with real evidence: portfolios, public exhibitions, skill mastery, and peer accountability. Progress becomes honest, earned, and visible—not a letter handed out for compliance.

Self Determination Theory

Feynman Technique
