Our Story
How We Started
"With 5 young boys between us, it didn’t take us long to decide that we wanted something different for them in terms of education. We’ve seen the traditional school model squash the potential and fire inside of so many boys, all for the sake of uniformity. Once we discovered the Acton model, we were sold. But beyond just believing in the methodology behind Acton Academy, we believe in the power of Jesus. At the end of the day, we love and serve Him, and we strive to make Him known in our community. We believe that each child is a Hero, created in the image of God, with the purpose of making a difference in the world. Treign Up Academy is our passion project that we started not only for our own children, but for the families in our community who long for something more."

Our Values
What We Believe
About Us
Why "Treign"
01
Train
In Proverbs, we're called to train a child in the way that he should go and he will not depart from it. In Psalms 127, its mentioned that as arrows are in the hand of a mighty man, so are children of one's youth. It is important that we are intentional to shoot the arrows we've been given with intention - aiming them at the right target and unleashing them in the way they were meant to go.
02
Reign
In Romans 8, Paul says that we are co-heirs with Christ and that the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead also dwells in us as Christians. What power and authority we now have access to! We are now overcomers and conquerers - TRUE heroes only by the grace of God and for what he did for us. This is the identity we train FROM as we step into this truth of the spiritual reality of what's already taken place to become more like him - the ultimate servant leader - and be good stewards of this authority and power in this life and the next.
03
Treign Up
Treign Up is the larger entity that the academy falls under. Its aim is to create content, curriculum, research, and experiences to train and equip fathers to raise their sons into competent men with Christ-like character. However, Treign Up Academy is for boys and girls. We believe that this academic methodology is far superior than public school and is a much more apt fit for both boys and girls.
Non Discriminatory Policy
Treign Up Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic and other school-administered programs.
